Course Focus: Full Semester

For students with creative ideas who are developmentally ready to work independently or with 1 other partner.

Age range: Recommended for ages 8+ or for students who meet the following developmental criteria:

  • Can read and write
  • Can do basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Proficient computer literacy skills
  • Understand the basic functions of a website and an app
  • Experience using block coding, scratch, and AI for coding sequences

Learning Objectives

Self-Guided

Student led discovery with minimal instructional intervention.

Collaborative Environment

Students are encouraged to work in pairs and discuss topics as a class.

Coding Fundamentals

Students will become familiar with Computer Science basics through Python.

Final Presentation

Teacher set-weekly goals, with a presentation at the end of the month.
